RANDII RAY WESSEN (born 1958 May 13) is an American astronautics systems engineer with more than 40 years of experience working for NASA specifically involved in advanced mission concepts, robotic deep space planetary exploration, proposal development, researcher, and author. Currently Dr. Wessen is working for NASA’s Ames Research Center (ARC) involved in program and project management. The majority of his career was spent with the California Institute of Technology’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) where he worked there from 1984 to 2024.
